Accessibility Statement | Peak Commercial

Peak Commercial Limited, trading as Peak Commercial

Last updated: June 2026

Our commitment

Peak Commercial wants everyone who visits peakcommercial.co.uk to be able to use it, whatever their abilities and however they access the web. We are committed to making this website as accessible and usable as we reasonably can, and to improving it as we find problems and as standards develop. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard generally accepted as good practice for UK websites. As a private company we are not within the scope of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we treat that framework, alongside our duties under the Equality Act 2010, as the right benchmark to work to.

What we have done

This website is built on the Wix platform and we have applied accessible practices in its design and content, including:

  • A clear, consistent page structure with properly ordered headings

  • Text written in plain English, with technical terms explained where they matter

  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds

  • Text that can be resized using standard browser controls without loss of content

  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images

  • Descriptive link text rather than bare instructions such as "click here"

  • A site that can be navigated by keyboard

  • Forms with labelled fields

Known limitations

We are honest about where the site may fall short. It has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so there may be issues we have not found, and the statements above reflect our own checks rather than third-party certification. Some content is provided as PDF downloads, and older or third-party documents may not be fully accessible. If you have difficulty with any document on this site, contact us and we will provide the content in a format that works for you.

Tell us if something does not work

If any part of this website is difficult for you to use, or you need information from it in a different format such as large print or an accessible document, contact us and we will help:

We aim to respond within five working days. Feedback about accessibility problems genuinely helps us fix them, and we welcome it.

Enforcement and further help

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not satisfied with our response, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) provides advice on the Equality Act 2010: equalityadvisoryservice.com or 0808 800 0082.

Review

The directors are responsible for this statement. We review it at least annually, and whenever significant changes are made to the website.
